Bookkeeper in Ashford - CV-Library

An exciting opportunity has opened for a Bookkeeper at a very well-established business based close to Ashford. This position will report directly to the Managing Director and is an excellent opportunity for someone with experience in a similar position looking for the next step in their career.

Duties Include but are not limited to:

Coding and processing purchase invoices against purchase orders

Paying invoices and tracking bank account balances

Reconciling bank statements

VAT and CIS Returns

Processing payroll and ensuring employee records are kept accurate

Profit and Loss statements, balance sheets and project costing

Preparing company accounts

Ad-Hoc duties and responsibilities associated with the position

The ideal candidate will:

Possess an AAT Qualification (Desirable)

Have proven experience in a similar position

Have an excellent knowledge of SAGE

Have meticulous attention to detail and excellent communication skills

Have a proactive can-do attitude and not be afraid to get stuck in and take on any task
