Engineering Manager
An exciting opportunity has arisen within the seeker programme for an engineering manager to join a specialist design team and develop innovative new technologies within a defence environment. Taking responsibility for ensuring that the product meets requirements you will work on the assessment and cost reduction in the design process.

Benefits:

Salary of up to £60,000
37-hour week + paid overtime
25 days holiday + Bank Holiday (option to buy additional 5 days) + ability to accrue more through overtime
Bonus up to Circa £2,500 (paid out for past 12 years)

The Opportunity:

Gain experience in seeker technologies and hardware engineering design and integration practices
Be involved in various stages of product development, across the product life cycle
Travel domestically and internationally in support of seeker integration, trials and manufacture
Significantly contribute to meeting internal and external expectations
Act as team leader throughout the product life cycleRequirements:

Degree qualified or comparable experience, with knowledge of RF or electronic technologies
Ability to build strong working relationships with team members and external departments
Demonstrable experience of product lifecycles, from concept through to production
Ability to product high quality written reports and presentations to customers
