Manual Machinist in Stockport - CV-Library

A global operator within the Utilities inustry are currently undergoing significant growth and adding talent across the business to help with the continued growth.

The business specilaise in the manufacturing and service of pumps acorss a variety of industries.

They are looking for a Manual Machinist to join the team on a full time, permanent basis.

On offer is a salary of up to £33,000 DOE.

Key duties:

* Bias on turning majority of machining on manual centre lathe producing shafts, sleeves, spacers, etc.

* Machining cast parts to drawing such as impellers, bearing housings, casings.

* General milling including keyways and slots

* Vertical borer machining valve bodies, pump bowls, pump casings etc.

* Remove and replace case wear rings and bushes

* Present a professional Image, support and promote brand values at all times.

* Carry out all work practices in line with Company Health and Safety Policy.

* Ensure compliance with corporate policies and procedures.

* Meet high standard of cleanliness and housekeeping.

* Support site activities.
