RTA Litigation Executive – Small Claims Litigation with progression to Fast Track
Litigation Executive RTA – Greater Manchester
Paralegal or Litigation Executive – This role is specifically designed to develop fee earners who are looking to build litigated RTA experience. Furthermore, it provides a structured route for career progression to more complex work.
Overview
Job title: Litigation Executive
Location: Greater Manchester
Work pattern: Hybrid
Salary: £22,000 - £24,000
Reports to: Team Leader
Previous Experience: Previous RTA experience would be useful. Perhaps you have MOJ / OIC experience and are looking for a step up into litigated work. The Partners are equally interested in speaking to candidates with file handling experience in other areas such as housing disrepair.
Advising tier 1 insurers on a range of RTA work
You will work in a dynamic RTA team advising a range of insurers as well as self-insured corporates. Responsibilities will include:
Creating initial case strategy on liability and quantum based on evidence;
Liaising with clients, third party insurers as well as third party solicitors with the aim of settling cases as efficiently as possible;
Liaising with Counsel;
Assessing evidence provided by witness statements;
Drafting Court documents and making sure Court deadlines are complied with and met.
Ideally, the Partners are looking for small claims experience or some kind of file handling experience. One of the key attractions of this role is the long-term career opportunity to develop with the team and progress to more complex areas of work.
