Manual Machinist in Spalding - CV-Library

We are delighted to be working with our Spalding based client who are looking to recruit a full time permanent Manual Machinist to join their friendly established team. This is a great opportunity to join a small expanding, established local business on a full time permanent basis. Working Mon – Thurs 7.30 to 4pm and Friday 7.30 to 3pm.

As a Manual Machinist you will be expected to work in the workshop, operating various machinery including lathes, horizontal and vertical borers and milling machines.

Duties

Day to day your role will involve but not limited to:-

* Operating lathes

* Operating Boring and Milling Machines Deliver technical assistant to customers/clients as required

* Assist colleagues with mechanical works during busy periods in workshop and onsite as required

Requirements

To be considered for this Manual Machinist role you will have experience of manual milling and turning machinery

Ability to read an interpret engineering drawings

Full driving licence is essential

You will have a flexible working approach, and excellent communication skills

Working (39 hours per week) with overtime as required (paid at time and a half (Mon – Friday and double time for weekends & Bank Holidays)
