Salary: £27,000 - £30,000 (DEO)

We are seeking an experienced Air freight forwarding professional with experience dealing with end-to-end air import operations to add to their team based in our London Heathrow offices.

Air Freight Import Coordinator Job Description:

Primary function to arrange air import movements from start to finish including customs clearances. Responsible for raising HAWBS & MAWBS, quoting jobs and offering pricing solutions, raising alerts, liaising with customers, overseas agents and airlines. Builds strong relationships with clients to encourage new and repeat business opportunities.

Essential Job Functions:

Arrange air exports for key accounts and ad-hoc customers
Raise HAWBS & MAWBS
Liaise with airlines and overseas agents
Communicates all aspects of capabilities and service offerings available to the client
Negotiate directly with air freight carriers to achieve best pricing
Complete Customs Declarations
Develop and maintain positive relationships with key clients, including negotiating and closing on major contracts
Maintain existing client base and simultaneously prospect for new clients and opportunities when possible
