Yolk Recruitment are working with a national security consultancy based in Gloucestershire. They're looking for an experienced Platform Engineer with strong Kubernetes experience.

If successful you will join one of their client sites in Gloucestershire working in an experienced engineering team to build secure Infrastructure solutions with a heavy focus on building Kubernetes deployment solutions. To be successful you will need strong experience in automated deployment (particularly Kubernetes), Elastic stack, IaC (Terraform / CloudFormation) & Linux administration as well as stakeholder management within the national security space.

The role is based on client site in Gloucestershire, mostly on-site with occasional hybrid flexibility.

This is what you will be doing:

Working closely with developers to build automated deployment solutions using Kubernetes.
Working closely with client & partner stakeholders to ensure projects are delivered on time & to agreed specifications.
Designing, building & monitoring linux infrastructure.
Working within an Agile / Scrum engineering team.

The experience you will bring to the team:

Experience building Kubernetes deployment solutions.
Elastic Stack - Kibana, elastic agent, logstash.
Ansible.
Helm.
Linux Systems Administration.

What you'll receive in return:

Salary up to £90,000
Bonus of 15%
