The Opportunity

Are you ready to dive into the world of digital terrain models? Look no further! Our survey function at Aggregate Industries is on the hunt for an enthusiastic individual to join our team.

As a Land Surveyor with us, you'll be at the heart of it all, collecting, managing, and processing raw data to drive key outcomes across Geological Services, Operations, and Engineering. Your role is pivotal in shaping our digital strategies, processes, and surveys to ensure accuracy, efficiency, and comprehensiveness.

You will conduct GNSS/TPS and drone surveys at quarries and other operational/non operational sites across all company divisions.

Utilise LiDAR scanners to collect data for geotechnical analysis and structural integrity assessments.

Effectively process raw data using software such as AutoCAD, LSS, Trimble Business Centre, Bentley iTwin and Pix4D.

Conduct independent stock surveys and produce site plans.

Ensure all survey work across the business is carried out to agreed specifications and schedules.

Ensure equipment and software is serviced, maintained, and licensed correctly and up-to-date.

Actively promote workplace diversity fostering an inclusive environment

Produce Bathymetric surveys using echosounders or equivalent technology.

Create maps, plans, reports and other outputs to a consistent standard as required.

Who you are 

Strong knowledge of safe practices in survey activities to ensure a secure working environment.

The ability to solve complex surveying problems, conduct thorough research, compile, analyse, and interpret survey data effectively.

Experienced with a range of surveying techniques including TPS, GPS, Drones, LiDAR, and hydrographic methods, showcasing versatility in data collection.

Experienced in using software tools such as AutoCAD, LSS, Pix4D, or similar applications for efficient data processing and visualisation.

Enthusiastic team player eager to collaborate and contribute to our dynamic work environment.
