Workshop Manager in Muir of Ord - Resourcing Group

If you're a hard-working and positive leader with experience as a Workshop Manager, we have a great opportunity for you. Our client is looking for someone who can efficiently lead a team of HGV Mechanics ensuring effective functionality of the workshop. This is a hands-on role which requires strong technical knowledge and communication skills.
Key Responsibilities:
Oversee the day-to-day operations of the workshop, including scheduling, prioritising tasks, safety and ensuring timely completion of maintenance and repair jobs
Collaborate with Sales and Service teams to meet customer needs and exceed their expectations, delivering exceptional service and support
Use knowledge of HGV maintenance and repair to troubleshoot complex issues and provide technical support to the team
Maintain high standards of quality and safety in all maintenance and repair activities
Provide strong leadership and guidance to workshop personnel, fostering a culture of accountability, teamwork and continuous improvement
Requirements:
Previous experience in a similar role, preferably in a workshop with HGV experience
Strong mechanical knowledge
Strong leadership abilities with the ability to motivate and inspire a team
Customer service-oriented mindset with excellent communication skills
