Electrician in South West London - BLUE OCTOPUS RECRUITMENT LTD

Permanent Full Time 40 Hours Per Week.
We are looking to recruit an Electrician to join our team at our hub in Metropolitan Thames Valley Housing.
About the Role
Working to deliver the best quality service, youll join us to undertake electrical repairs, testing and installation works across your dedicated area, whilst complying with BS7671, ensuring implementation and compliance is in line with our Health and Safety Policy and procedures.
Youll produce concise and accurate data records through PDA / mobile communication systems and reporting, ensuring tasks are completed right, first time, with materials and timescales both achievable and deliverable. Attending Team Briefs, Toolbox Talks and Technical Bulletins monthly, youll demonstrate a positive, diverse, and inclusive attitude to both internal and external customer and colleagues at all times.
You will be required to cover out of hours call out.
About You
The minimum qualification requirements for this role are as follow:
Any of:
-Level 3 NVQ in Electrotechnical Services (Electrical Installation - Buildings & Structures)
-Level 3 NVQ Diploma in Installing Electrotechnical systems and equipment (buildings, structures and the environment)
-City & Guilds 2360 Electrical Installation Theory and Practice Part 2
-Level 3 Certificate in Electrotechnical Technology
and
-Electrical Installations BS7671 (18th Edition) if not delivered as part of one of the above courses
-ECS Card - Gold (this can be obtained during probation)
The desirable qualifications for this role are as follow:
Demonstrated competence in Inspection and Testing and obtained either :
-Level 3 Certificate in the Certification of Electrical Installations (inspection, testing and certification of electrical installations) or
-Both the City & Guilds 2394 Level 3 Award in the Initial Verification & Certification of Electrical Installations and the City & Guilds 2395 Level 3 Award in the Periodic, Inspection, Testing and Certification of Electrical Installations.
You must hold a valid full UK driving licence held for a minimum of 12 months as a company vehicle will be provided (work use only).
