Building Supervisor - Facilities Management - Manchester - £40k plus excellent benefits.

This is a fantastic opportunity to join one of the largest Facilities Management companies in the UK based at one of their prestigious clients' sites in Manchester.

This is an excellent opportunity to develop your management career in a growing business.

The role is static initially, however, will become mobile.

Salary: £40k plus excellent benefits.

Hours of work: 40 hour working week, 8am - 5pm, Monday to Friday

Location: Manchester initially, will become mobile.

Role Responsibilities:

To be able to manage the work on various building elements and to ensure the operatives install to a high standard.
To be able to direct subcontract labour to carry out plaster boarding, partitioning, painting, minor carpentry to a competent standard.
To be comfortable to work with and as per construction drawings.
To provide information on progress of the project as per Project Programme & to follow RAMS.
Develop relationships with all customers and potential new customers.
Ensuring continuous improvement and drive for value for money.
To ensure they always follow CDM Health and Safety requirements.
To have the ability to assist the PM to oversee Subcontractors when they attend site to ensure safe working.The successful person:

Ability to demonstrate you have the skills, knowledge in various fields of builders work to carry out the works.
Preferably to hold SMSTS, SSMTS or IOSH
Ability to produce, review and develop RAMS for all building works.
IT literate
Experience of project installation install works.
Experience of safe working practices.
Demonstrable skills in dealing and working closely with internal and external customers and suppliers on complex and interrelated issues.
