Our Client is one of the UK’s leading pioneers in the race to develop and manufacture the latest Battery technology for industry, with an initial primary focus on supporting our ever growing Automotive manufacturing sector (but not exclusively!), ensuring that there will be a brighter and greener future for us all.

Working from state-of-the-art manufacturing facilities in the West Midlands, it is our pleasure to now be partnering our Client to help develop, build and nurture their team with only the very best talent!

As part of this growth, we are now actively seeking a Technical Trainer on a permanent basis – someone who can support in the delivery of such training, as well as assisting the Learning Design & Development department with the creation of such training material.

Your duties and responsibilities will be:
To support in the delivery of all external and internal technical training needs.
Supporting the L&D Team to create training materials, including new and emerging technologies.
Supporting the Learning Designer and Developer with continuous Improvement of training materials.
Feedback collation and actions from training sessions.
Competency Matrix sign-off support.
Support with SWI creation and continuous improvement with an L&D viewpoint.
Delivery and support of online or face to face delivery environment.
Work closely with the L&D Coordinator for management and booking of internal and external courses.
Explore opportunities for creating new course material including new methods and tools for delivery.
Monitor and review existing training materials and resources to ensure that they are effective and up to date and relevant with the learning designer and developer.
Awareness and development of new/latest technology, techniques and programming that require adding to course material (industry relevant).
Support the L&D Team with Apprenticeship and Graduate management.You will have the following qualifications & experience:
Should ideally has a Training and/or Learning related qualification, although plenty of related experience will be considered.
Should ideally be an experienced Technical Trainer who has previously delivered training/education as a focus of your role.
You will be an individual with a customer first mindset who is easy to do business with and makes people feel special, driven to deliver experiences that are personalised, transparent and dependable.
Will be an individual who is results driven with the ability to deliver operational plans in a highly demanding environment.
An individual with the ability to prioritise their work load is needed.
You will be a good communicator with the ability to communicate complex ideas.
An effective team player who supports team membersIt’s great if you also have the following:
A Train The Trainer qualification would be ideal, but is not essential.
Previous experience of working in a Manufacturing industry/environment is highly desirable.
Previous exposure to apprenticeships and graduates would be useful.
Experience of educating within a new and emerging industry is highly desirable.This position is available with immediate effect.
