Proactive Personnel are currently recruiting for a General Manager for a contemporary fine dining restaurant and lounge in Trafford.
My client has an exciting opportunity for an experienced restaurant manager to join their enthusiastic team on a full time, permanent basis. Living their values, ensuring all metrics of a successful business are delivered through exceptional standards and team leadership.
Designed to offer aromatic Indian and pan-sushi flavours inspired from the hustle and bustle of the streets of India and Asia, whilst offering a luxurious social experience and atmosphere.

You will be minimising operating costs, boosting employee retention and delivering a positive dining experience for guests. Being available to work 6 days over 7, Including weekends and bank holidays.
Salary: £32,000-£35,000 P/A (£13-£15 p/h)

Key Responsibilities:
* Team welfare.
* Brand Compliance to Specs and Recipes.
* Placing food and beverage orders with our suppliers; overseeing onsite deliveries.
* Coordinate communication between front of the house and back of the house staff.
* Prepare shift schedules.
* Process payroll for all restaurant staff.
* Ensure that all administration is managed and completed promptly and that it is also compliant with legislation, company processes, procedures and standards.
* Lead, manage and coach the team giving them regular feedback on their performance for them to deliver on their goals, company business plan and grow.
* Proactively support team with career development and progression so that an active succession plan is in place.
* Ensure underperformance is managed and all issues are addressed.
* Keep detailed records of daily, weekly and monthly costs and revenues.
* Arrange for new employees’ proper onboarding (scheduling training and ordering uniforms).
* Monitor compliance with safety and hygiene regulations.
* Gather guests’ feedback and recommend improvements.
Requirements:
* Work experience as a Restaurant Floor Manager.
* Familiarity with restaurant management software, Comtrex, Fourth.
* Good financial awareness and reporting skills.
* Exceptional Guest service through enhanced team engagement.
* Communication and team management abilities.
Hours: 8/10/12 hour shifts, Weekend availability
