Role: Senior Electrical Engineer (Building Services - Nuclear Defence Sector)

Location: Glasgow (Hybrid)

Salary: £45000 - £62000 (Negotiable)

Overview

This is an opportunity to work for one of the worlds leading engineering firms. Boasting offices all over the world and operating on huge frameworks and infrastructure schemes within the MOD, Aviation, Energy, Nuclear, Government Advisory, Water and Defence sectors.

They are currently looking for an Experienced Electrical Engineer in the Glasgow area to work on a longstanding Nuclear Framework that specialises in providing technical services (up to the value of £400m) for various defense and MOD organisations. You will be part of a team responsible for delivering various projects centered around the upgrade of the critical infrastructure of a local naval base.

Role

As an Electrical Engineer, you will be expected to lead projects, liaise with clients/contractors, complete site surveys and develop existing engineers.

Ideally you will have:

5+ UK Years' experience within a building services consultancy (Experience within defence sector preferable)
An Electrical Engineering degree or building services related (BEng/BSc).
Experience leading projects as an Electrical Engineer.
Hold a CIBSE Chartership
Experience with producing project specifications, suitability, and design monitoring.
Have a working knowledge of Revit, Amtech, Dialux/Relux
Extensive experience with client liaison, site visits and meetings.
Experience mentoring junior engineers.
