Are you an expert project engineer with a strong background in high voltage engineering? This company is presenting a fantastic opportunity for an individual to enter a competitive, demanding and high quality role within their team of six project engineers. This role will be a mixture of office work, based in Birmingham, and travel to various sites across the UK perhaps requiring overnight stays. In the office, you will work with like-minded individuals and set industry leading standards. To get out on the road you will be supplied with a company car, overseeing sites and be responsible for cradle to grave projects. This role will be from Monday to Friday offering a great work life balance.
This company coordinate and manage HV installations including associated civil works up to £2 million. The role comes as the list of clients in the pipeline expands, opening new engaging opportunities in industries such as healthcare, food production, automotive and education. You will be leading a variety of projects from critical emergency generators to preventing costly repairs through network discrimination studies - the work you will be doing is vital for every client.

The Role:
Overseeing projects from conception to completion
Responding to customer enquiries and setting deadlines
Control work in progress budgets
Manage and prevent health and safety critical issues during the quotation/design and implementation of projects
Visit active projects under your supervision and manage / direct personnel
Quoting and ordering
Securing good connections with new and existing clients
First point of contact with clients, suppliers and staff
The Person:
Extensive electrical engineering background with HV network experience
IOSH Certificate
Understanding of ISO9001, ISO140001 procedures
