The Role: Plasterer 

Location: Ipswich    

Job Type: Full-time temp to perm 

Salary: £160 a day + Mileage (Needs own Van & tools)

Our client a large local social housing contractor providing maintenance services to properties across the East is looking for an experienced Plasterer / wet trades multi to work on void properties in the Ipswich area. The candidate will ideally be a skilled and experienced plasterer who also holds skills in other wet trades such as floor screeding, ceramic tiling etc. 

The successful individual will hold a minimum level 2 NVQ or be time-served as a plasterer whilst also being experienced in completing various other maintenance tasks. As a skilled plasterer with relevant experience you will be required to undertake a variety of allocated works across the area. 

Duties and Responsibilities

Management of jobs within void properties. 

Ensuring all assigned tasks are carried out to a safe and efficient standard.

Making decisions upon specialist experience and knowledge.

Ensuring compliance at all times with necessary regulations, standards, and legal responsibilities of repair work and contractor compliance.

Knowledge and Experience within a maintenance environment preferred.

Plasterer / Multi Trade experience and excellent planning and organisational skills.

Hours of work are Monday-Friday 8am - 5pm. 30 minutes lunch. 

Certificates and Qualifications

Level 2 Trade City & Guilds/ NVQ (Preferred)

Asbestos Awareness Training. (ARC can provide free online training for this) Full UK driving license).
