Home Manager - Cardiff - S alary £32,000 to £34,000 dependent on experience - 40.25 hours a week.

An exciting opportunity awaits you in our 2 bed residential home where we are seeking a dedicated Home Manager where you will play a vital role in supporting young adults with complex needs associated with autism transition into adulthood.

As the Home Manager, you will lead the comprehensive management of the home. This pivotal role places responsibility on you for overseeing all resources and budgets, maintaining strict compliance with regulatory guidelines, and cultivating a culture that prioritizes exceptional care. Your focus will be on fostering a positive, high-performance environment for our employees, ultimately working towards the nurturing and support of young adults during their transition into adulthood. Ensure the highest quality of service is provided to the service users in your care through promoting a culture that seamlessly aligns with the Positive Behaviour Support (PBS) framework.
Deliver a home environment that puts the wellbeing and quality of life of the service users at the heart of everything you do, through embracing embracing a person-centred planning approach.
Carry out monthly monitoring of your home as set out under the Periodic Service Review and ensure that action plans are in place and are actioned as appropriate.
Ensure an up-to-date Home Improvement Plan is in place and that actions are driven in line with this.
Proactively manage your home in relation to risk and regulation performance.
Carry out relevant investigations in relation to significant events as necessary.
Oversee complaint and safeguarding matters in conjunction with the responsible individual, ensuring reports are written and submitted to the relevant Director and appropriate agencies as necessary.
Ensure a weekly management report for your home is prepared for the regional manager, in relation to all operational and regulatory matters.

Strong, successful and proven track record within a managerial role in a similar environment in terms of size and complexity.
Solid knowledge of organisational compliance with legislation, regulatory requirements and best practice.
