Join Our Team as a People Business Partner: Fostering Excellence in People Practices! (12-Month Fixed-Term Contract)

Are you ready to embark on a transformative journey as a People Business Partner, covering maternity leave and spearheading exciting projects? We're seeking a dynamic individual to join our team for a 12-month fixed-term contract, driving strategic HR initiatives and fostering a culture of excellence. With a hybrid working model and a wealth of exciting projects on the horizon, this role offers a unique opportunity to make a significant impact in a vibrant workplace environment.

Whilst this role is based in our Head Office in Fazakerley, this role covers the south region of the UK and therefore some travel may be required.

About Us: At Homes for Students, we believe in the power of our people to drive success. As we continue on this exciting journey, we're seeking a dedicated People Business Partner to join us in shaping the future of our organisation. If you're passionate about making a difference and thrive in a collaborative environment, this role is perfect for you!

Key Responsibilities:

• Recruitment Support: Provide guidance and coaching to managers to attract and hire top talent. Conduct hire and cost analysis to inform our talent acquisition strategy.

• Onboarding Excellence: Collaborate with managers to create exceptional onboarding experiences. Utilise feedback and data analysis to enhance onboarding tools and processes.

• Training Program Development: Partner with the People Development Team to design customised training programs, driving success, retention, and satisfaction across regions.

• Offboarding Strategy: Lead the offboarding strategy to gather valuable insights from departing employees, informing our overall people strategy.

• Employee Relations: Serve as a trusted advisor to managers on employee relations matters, ensuring compliance with employment law and fostering a positive workplace culture.

• TUPE Support: Assist the Senior People Business Partner in the TUPE process, providing administrative and on-site support while adhering to relevant legislation.

• Continuous Improvement: Stay informed about HR trends and best practices, making recommendations for improvement in your area of responsibility.

• Metrics Analysis: Analyse people metrics to identify areas for improvement and make strategic recommendations.

Why Join Us:

• Be part of a forward-thinking organisation committed to employee development and well-being.

• Embark on a 12-month fixed-term contract covering maternity leave, with exciting projects to drive forward.

• Enjoy a hybrid working model, with working hours from 9am to 5.30pm, providing flexibility and work-life balance.

• Collaborate with a diverse and passionate team dedicated to driving positive change.

• Make a meaningful impact on our culture and business outcomes through strategic HR initiatives.

• Enjoy a supportive work environment that values innovation, collaboration, and growth opportunities.

What We Offer:

Generous holiday package: 25 days, plus bank holidays, for work-life balance.

Exclusive retail discounts to make your money go further.

Celebrate your birthday with a well-deserved day off.

2 charity days per year to make a difference in the community.

Death in Service benefit for peace of mind.
