This is an exciting opportunity to join a growing business who provide excellent job security. This role is well suited to an experienced engineer who has experience working in the security industry, and has supported more junior members of staff.
Roles and Responsibilities:
Install, configure, and maintain fire alarm systems, including smoke detectors, fire panels, and notification devices.
Install, configure, and maintain CCTV systems, including cameras, monitors, and recording equipment.
Install, configure, and maintain access control systems
Conduct regular inspections and testing of fire and security systems to ensure compliance with regulations and standards.
Troubleshoot and repair issues with fire and security systems, including identifying and replacing faulty components.
Provide technical support and assistance to clients and end-users regarding fire and security systems.
Requirements
Electrical Qualifications.
Experience working with Security Alarms, Fire Alarms, Access Control, and CCTV Equipment, IP Networking, Barriers and gates.
Willingness to travel to customer sites.
Experience dealing with customers on site.
CSCS and IPAF are desirable, but not essential.
