Responsibilities of a Field Service Engineer:
Complete all service, repair, warranty, and inspection jobs allocated daily, maintaining a high-quality standard.
Foster strong rapport and relationships with customers, demonstrating professional behaviour and a customer-focused mindset.
Respond to routine inquiries from customers about the technical aspects of the organisation's products and services.
Troubleshoot, investigate and resolve standard technical problems to ensure ongoing customer satisfaction.
Develop skills and knowledge of the organisation's products and services by attending regular training courses.
Comply with all legal and company standards, including the code of conduct and health & safety practices.
Key Skills for the Field Service Engineer
Mechanical/Electrical Engineering qualifications.
Experienced multi-skilled engineering experience with FLT, heavy plant or agricultural equipment and working with Hydraulic Systems.
Ability to read and follow electrical wiring diagrams.
Proficiency in fault finding and computer-based diagnostics, as well as electrical fault finding.
