Role: CNC Setter Operator
Duration: 12 months
Location: Coventry (Ansty Park)
Rate: £19.64 base / £26.12 including 33% night shift allowance
Shift Pattern - Nights
Mon to Thurs 10pm - 6am
Fri 6pm - 2am
Multi axis cnc machine setter operator to operate and set up turning centers safely and to the drawing within the quality standards required, While working within a team and customer focused environment within the aerospace Industry.
Role Responsibilities:
Operate machine/multiple machines.
Set up and changeover machines.
Guage and measure and record features on products in line with process standards.
Maintain and carry out Safety, Quality, TPM and 5 s activity.
Attend and support team improvement activity.
Follow company policy and procedures
Skills, Knowledge:
SPC trained.
GDT trained.
Able to read and interpret drawings.
IT literate (word, excel, SAP, etc.)
Can use measuring equipment, (Vernier, Micrometer, Go/No GO, Shadow graph, CMM, etc.)
Must be able to do offsets.
Machine toll setting. (tips, inserts)
