X-Ray Service Engineer - Hertfordshire
Our client, a leading manufacturing company, is seeking a skilled X-Ray Service Engineer to join their team. In this role, you will lead the engineering support activities for the X-ray service teams globally, while providing valuable insights to the NXT design teams. Reporting to the Systems Engineering Director, you will play a crucial role in ensuring the smooth operation of our X-ray service department.

Responsibilities:
Serve as the key contact for service engineering teams when they encounter challenging issues on customer systems that they cannot resolve.
Lead and prioritize the follow-up/management of open issues and queries to high standards.
Collaborate with key engineers, pulling in further experts as required.
Conduct on-site customer visits to implement fixes.
Occasionally provide training to Service Engineers.
Provide input for design engineers, promoting Design For Serviceability.

Required:
Experience with advanced electro-mechanical systems.
Excellent communication and technical documentation skills.
Customer-facing experience under tight deadlines.
Comfortable working in a dynamic environment.
Self-motivated and keen to make a difference.
Experience in creating and delivering presentations.
Willingness to travel globally.

Desirable:
Knowledge of X-ray/vacuum systems.
Knowledge of safety and regulatory aspects.
Able to read electrical and electronics schematics, and mechanical drawings.
Appreciation of software, firmware, and algorithms.
Basic CAD skills (SolidWorks).
