Are you ready for a new challenge? Do you have an interest in children and young people's emotional wellbeing? Do you have experience of working in children's therapeutic services?
This is an exciting opportunityfor a highly motivatedperson tojoin MyTime South Cumbria asa Mental Health Practitioner, providing support to children and young people aged 5-18 years. Support is delivered face to face or via phone and digital platforms. There will be an emphasis on:
Providing a blended approach of digital and face to face sessions
Maintainingactiveengagementon allsafeguardingmatters
Ensuring accurate recording for reporting purposes
Role details :
Fixed Term until April 2025
Working days: Monday to Friday
Working hours: 37
The ability to travel across the locality is essential
Working in a variety of school and community venues
We are looking for someone who is passionate about:
Children's and Young people's emotional health and wellbeing
Improving outcomes for children and young people
The successful candidate must :
Haveexperience of delivering therapeutic support interventions to children andyoungpeople
Have acomprehensiveunderstandingof children'ssafeguarding
Have an awareness of emotional challenges and how these impact the lives ofchildren and young people
Be adaptableand deliver support via multiple methods; face to face, telephone or video call
Have excellent note recording, administrative and organisational skills
