National Challenge Events Manager

We are looking for a National Challenge Events Manager to develop and manage our Challenge Events programme including the London Marathon and Great North Run. You will play a key role in delivering growth across our challenge events activity as part of our fundraising strategy enhancing supporter journeys and delivering an exceptional experience to drive greater supporter return.

About You:
Youll have experience of leading charity fundraising challenge events including significantly growing income on existing events and setting up new challenge events across multiple channels. With your experience of using fundraising databases such as D365 youll also be able use data insight to drive decision making.
About The Role
You will
Manage the St John Ambulance Challenge Events programme, including flagship third party events like the London Marathon, ensuring that all campaigns and events are delivered on time and to budget.
Develop an annual plan of activity to maintain and improve the current programme and to increase the challenge events portfolio with the key driver being to increase income across challenge events.
Ensure our website and 3rd party websites are kept up to date with all challenge events opportunities and ensure that we have a strong focus on donor experience and journey.
Lead the implementation of supporter journeys (online and offline) for challenge events participants putting the supporter at the heart of everything we do.
