Wintel Engineer Bristol Our client, a leading Engineering Services Company is currently seeking a Windows / Wintel Engineer to join their team. As a Wintel Engineer, you will play a crucial role in the design, development, testing, support, and management of IT systems for a classified UK network. Your responsibilities will include building new environments from the ground up and ensuring they are migration ready and maintained thereafter. Key Responsibilities
Design, build, test, and maintain a unified communications solution based on Skype for Business.
Design, build, test, and maintain a robust email system using Database Availability Groups (DAG) for MS Exchange.
Design, build, test, and maintain a security monitoring solution.
Design, build, test, and maintain a hardware security solution.
Test, implement, and maintain a Public Key Infrastructure (PKI) system and integrate it with a smartcard system.
Perform Windows Server upgrades to the latest version.
Schedule and deploy Windows Updates and security patches.
Conduct Security Content Automation Protocol (SCAP) checks.
Manage the data suites within a data centre.
Manage a cloud VM infrastructure (vSphere).
Troubleshoot operational environment issues.
Maintain storage arrays of various kinds.
