Job Description: We are currently seeking a talented Commissioning Engineer / Manager to join our Operations Team for multiple residential projects valued between £15 - £25 million. The successful candidate will be responsible for the management and delivery of commissioned M&E (Mechanical and Electrical) systems across several residential schemes, ranging from mid to very high-end developments.
Responsibilities:
Manage and deliver commissioned M&E systems across multiple residential schemes.
Set up, review, and hand over all systems throughout the project lifecycle.
Ensure compliance with industry regulations and standards.
Liaise with project stakeholders to understand project requirements and expectations.
Collaborate with the project management team to ensure smooth project execution.
Troubleshoot and resolve any technical issues related to MEP systems.
Provide technical expertise and guidance to the project team.
Conduct regular inspections and quality checks to maintain project standards.
Manage subcontractors and suppliers involved in commissioning activities.
Document commissioning processes and procedures for future reference.
Requirements:
Bachelor's degree in Mechanical or Electrical Engineering or related field.
Proven experience in commissioning MEP systems within the residential sector.
Strong project management skills with the ability to manage multiple projects simultaneously.
Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
Ability to work independently and as part of a team.
Knowledge of relevant industry regulations and standards.
Problem-solving skills with attention to detail.
Proficiency in relevant software and tools.
