Job Description

Horizon Teachers are currently assisting a secondary school who are seeking a Science Technician to join their team starting April 2024. The school is based in Perry Bar and caters for 11 to 16 year old boys. The school has a Muslim faith designation, welcoming applications from pupils of all faiths and none.

The responsibilities of the role include:
Supporting Science classes
Collaborating with teachers to support their timetables
Preparing teaching materials
Ensuring the safety of Science equipment in the classroom
Maintaining equipment
Assisting with displays and demonstrations
Managing stock and ordering new equipment
Reporting any concerns to the appropriate staff member
