Horizontal Borer in Sheffield - Resourcing Group

Adept are excited to be working with a well-established heavy engineering manufacturer working across several key sectors in Sheffield including construction, MOD, Rail and nuclear. Due to expansion and business needs they have a requirement for a CNC Horizontal Borer in their machine shop in Sheffield.
Either days regular 6am 4pm Monday to Thursdays OR Nights regular working 8pm 6am Monday Thursday.
Experience in working on vertical borers is essential in addition to the following responsibilities:
Experience of working as a CNC Horizontal Borer on vertical machinesKnowledge of HeidenhainWorking on small batch jobsWorking on large componentsKnowledge of self-inspectionAbility to work to tight tolerancesBasic Programming knowledge i.e., linear movements
