Hospo Talent are currently recruiting for a Sous Chef, you will be an integral part of our culinary team, contributing to the creation of memorable dining moments. Your expertise will be essential in creating and executing mouth-watering dishes to consistently meet and exceed their guests' expectations.
Are Client is well established hotel with a fine dining restaurant in the Ayrshire area.
Responsibilities:
Collaborate with the Head Chef to plan and execute high-quality menus for various dining outlets, including the clubhouse restaurant, banquets, and special events.
Oversee the day-to-day operations of the kitchen, ensuring culinary excellence and adherence to all health and safety standards.
Lead and inspire the kitchen brigade to maintain a culture of teamwork, creativity, and excellence.
Manage inventory, ordering, and cost control to meet financial objectives while maintaining exceptional quality.
Stay abreast of culinary trends and incorporate innovative techniques and ingredients into menu development.
To be successful in this role, you should possess the following qualifications and skills:
Proven experience as a Sous Chef or senior culinary position in a high-end dining establishment.
Exceptional culinary skills and a passion for creating innovative dishes.
Knowledge of local and seasonal ingredients, with a commitment to sustainability.
Strong communication and leadership abilities.
Ability to thrive in a fast-paced environment and adapt to changing priorities.
A creative approach to menu development and a willingness to experiment.
Flexibility to work various shifts, including evenings and weekends.
