The Opportunity

We have an exciting opportunity for an Asphalt Plant Manager to run our operation at our site at Astley. Managing a close knit team you will work together to ensure a safe and operationally efficient environment while producing a quality product for the surrounding markets. You will achieve budgeted EBITDA and control fixed costs in accordance with Company budget & targets ∙ You will maintain and improve the business relationships with all stakeholders involved with the business unit, with particular regard to neighbors and statutory bodies. You will also ensure the allocated business units as a minimum comply to ISO9001 & 14001 National Third Party Accreditations.

As our Asphalt Plant Manager you have the opportunity to be involved in numerous exciting projects on site in order to increase the efficiency and customer satisfaction at our asphalt site.

You will manage all aspects of the asphalt plant, including all legal and corporate health, safety, environmental and quality requirements.

You’ll oversee the continual improvement of site practices to include manufacturing cost reductions and take ownership of site PPM scheme and effective maintenance scheduling.

Management of fiscal documents to ensure monthly personnel, maintenance and recycling budgets are met.

You will be working closely with the management team taking part in daily/ weekly/monthly meetings.
Who you are

Understanding of health and safety policy and procedures

Manufacturing or production experience.

Previous experience managing and developing teams.

Strong communication skills with the ability to build effective working relationships with others.

Proven track record in nurturing talent and developing future leaders within the organisation.

IT Literate.

Experience in operating asphalt/mobile plant
