Pure Care have a new opportunity for an experienced Trainer to join a well-established, family-owned group of elderly Care Homes around the Surrey area.

* Full time, permanent role

* Monday to Friday, 9am-5pm (Flexi-hours)

* Mileage allowance

* £30,000 p/a

As the company grows they are now looking to add another individual to their Learning and Development team to further support their staff members. Provision of great training and development is a priority for the group and within this the role of the Training Associate is integral. You will plan, co-ordinate and deliver training against company objectives and training statistics to ensure compliance and developmental objectives.

As the Care Home Trainer you will be responsible for formulating and delivering educational programs to staff in all of the care homes. You will provide support to the training team in initiating and delivering training programs and maintaining mandatory training and competency assessment of all staff.

About You

A background in care is crucial and the successful Care Home Trainer will have previous experience of offering training and support to a team within a care setting. (Care Homes or Domiciliary Care) You will support up to 12 Care Homes across the Surrey area and must be prepared to travel between these sites as required.

The Care Home Trainer will work with Home Managers to plan, schedule and deliver training where required and compose accurate and regular reports to the Senior Management team.

Training Associate Requirements:

* Have experience in training and assessing competency of staff within Health & Social Care

* A training or teaching qualification is desirable however applicants with appropriate training skills and experience within care who are willing to work towards a qualification are encouraged to apply, E.g. Senior Care Assistants with Train the Trainer experience

Duties of the Care Home Training Associate:

* Deliver induction training, orientation programme, competency assessments and reviews, and additional training as required as per the needs of each service

* To competency assess knowledge and practical elements of care

* Monitor the level of compliance with mandatory training and competency assessment for all care / nursing staff across the group

* Provide professional support and guidance to staff

* Attend all mandatory training sessions and be actively involved in other training and development as required.

* Ensure that all documentation relating to training and development is accurate and completed in a professional and timely manner
