Job Description

Your Costing Executive’s role will be responsible for ensuring cost management accounting and management of control report preparation and distribution are completed in an accurate and set timeframe

Your role will involve:
· Process cost accounting - accurate reporting of cost of goods and stock profitability; performing regular cycle counts to correct inventory misstatements; regular reconciliation and updating of stand costs to actual costs; monthly closing process; quarterly inventory, preparing journal entries, balancing, and reconciling subsidiary ledgers
· Actively participating in the annual budgeting process by providing updated cost information across different product lines and recommending changes to policies/procedures to improve the company’s cash flow
· Coordination with the finance department and internal/external auditors - reconciliation of inventory balances; providing accurate and timely financial information including actual product costs and standard costs for new products; providing account analysis for accounts; maintaining integrity and accuracy of accounting system
· Stock control to include booking in/out all stock on Sage200
· Analysing complex manufacturing processes in coordination with operations manager to improve decision making

You will be the ideal candidate due to your:
· Good working knowledge of Sage200
· Analytical and computer skills, including excellent working knowledge of Microsoft Excel
· Attention to detail, strong organisational and good communication skills with the ability work under pressure to provide interpretation of facts and compare data
