Job Summary
We have an exciting opportunity for a Day Hygiene Operative to join our team at Agrial Fresh Produce Wigan in Wigan.

Pay: £12.46 per hour

Working hours: Monday to Thursday 12:00, Sunday 08:00 to 16:00, Friday & Saturday days off.

As well as the 3 factories we also have a farming operation – Agrial Fresh Farms. All UK sites operate under the name of Agrial Fresh Produce Limited and fall under Agrial's vegetable division. The business is more recognisable in the UK by its Florette salad brand and we are now one of the UK’s leading producers in the industry. We have a recipe for success through our EPIC values and working together as one team. Our Wigan site is a well-established business unit that processes and distributes pre-packed, ready to eat, fresh salad bags and bowls to some of the UK's well-known retailers and restaurants. We are based on Martland Park Industrial Estate, which is ideal for travel on the M61, M6 and M62.

Main Responsibilities

* Ensure that all amenities cleaning is carried out effectively according to schedules and company standards.

* Ensure all the rules and regulations relating personal hygiene and statutory health and safety requirement are always met.

* Ensure that company quality and food hygiene standards and procedures are strictly adhered to at all times.

* Ensure that cleaning methods/procedure are adhered t.

* Replenish hand soaps and towels as and when required.

* Replenish production over all as and when required.

* Remove rubbish from office and production areas

* To ensure all completed work is signed off accordingly.

* Communicate effectively and work co-operatively within the cleaning team.

Skills and Experience Required

* To have 1 years’ experience in hygiene operative role

* To have 1 years’ experience in a Manufacturing environment

* Awareness of hygiene standards and regulations in the workplace
