Job Description

My client is a leading developer and operator of large-scale renewable energy assets, providing direct access to affordable green energy for UK Large Power Users. Their current projects range up to 100MW and they have a pipeline of circa 4GW.
They are seeking a PM who will be responsible for:
* The completion of Project Pre-Construction requirements, ground and environmental surveys, installation plans, grid connection offers, costing for the project, and EPC agreements.
* Use internal and external resources to ensure our third-party contractors complete work in line with their contractual obligations. Including HSE, CDM, Designs, SoW, QA, Commissioning, Reporting, Programme.
* Take responsibility for the delivery of the highest quality of renewable asset, build on our existing EPC relationships to ensure all onsite works are completed as per approved construction designs and the contractual Scope of Work.
* Track construction progress by holding weekly meetings with EPC partners, ensuring meeting minutes and actions are recorded, and verifying EPC weekly reports and programme updates. Take responsibility for raising any high-risk issues to the relevant internal and external parties and produce high level update reports for other members of the Projects team and wider business.
You will have:
* Organised and can manage time effectively to stay in control of a full diary with extensive UK wide travel, multiple scheduled meetings and ad-hoc meetings as required.
* Previous experience taking responsibility for on-site health/safety/environment, and a working knowledge of CDM2015 compliance.
* Construction management or supervision background preferably with knowledge of electrical / renewables / rural land development sectors with the ability to understand and implement construction designs, drawings, and scopes of work.
* Proficiency using design / modelling such as AutoCAD would be beneficial.
Thie role involves frequent travel to project sites across the UK and regular visits to the London office
