Job Title: Maintenance Engineer

Salary: £40,110 per annum

Shift Pattern: Monday - Friday, 3 Shift Rotating (6-2, 2-10, 10-6)

Location: Alfreton, Derbyshire

We are looking for an experienced Maintenance Engineer for our global manufacturing company. This is permanent role where you need to be focused on maximising efficiency.

The individual will have to be motivated, flexible, efficient in execution and able to manage timelines. It is of key importance to work well with the operational teams as well as across the organisation.

The Maintenance Engineer Role:

* To work as part of a team but have the ability to work alone

* Responsible for managing the completion of ongoing PPM’s in addition to any emergency or unforeseen breakdowns

* Excellent interpersonal and communication skills

* A positive approach to change

* Experience within a high-volume automated manufacturing environment

* Organised and structured with an excellent attention to detail and able to report investigation findings

* Excellent problem analysis and problem solving skills

* Confidence to deliver preventative maintenance schedules providing action plans and status reports as required.

The Maintenance Engineer Candidate:

* Completed an Electrical or Mechanical apprenticeship

* Experience within an automated manufacturing environment

* Minimum ONC or equivalent qualification in Electrical or Mechanical discipline

* Computer literacy, MC Office

* Good interpersonal skills

* Good time management / planning skills

* Good problem analysis and problem-solving skills

* Knowledge of fault finding and diagnosis on electrical, mechanical, PLC control systems, hydraulic and pneumatic systems

* Good English skills both oral and written

* Driving licence and confidence to travel
