Our client is looking for an experienced Sustainability Consultant to join their international multi-disciplinary consultancy. The successful candidate will work closely with the Head of Sustainability in expanding the firm's sustainability offering in the North, with a focus on net zero carbon, circular economy, embodied carbon, and decarbonisation strategies.

Associate Sustainability Consultant Requirements:

Extensive experience in a similar role
Experience leading and delivering projects
Managing junior members of staff
Demonstrable evidence of developing sustainable design strategies in a built environment context
Experience in financial management, including forecasting and resourcing
Experience in work winning and business development
Chartership with a relevant industry body
Exemplary communication, written and verbal
Experience delivering presentations to a wide range of internal and external stakeholders
Technical report writingAssociate Sustainability Consultant Duties:

Project leadership and mentorship of junior team members
Produce technical guidance and analysis to influence sustainability strategies (including leading workshops to help clients define their strategic sustainability brief)
Deliver, report and evaluate on project sustainability targets
Speak at industry events
Assist in bid writing and attending project interviews
Assist in project forecasting and budget management
Develop and implement policies and strategy
ESG reporting, including performance against Science Based Targets
Manage and maintain ISO 14001 and ISO 50001 certification
Development of communications plan for the practice, producing up to date marketing material on our sustainability activitiesBenefits:
