We are working with a global Trading Platform company, since moving to the UK they’ve shown exciting growth and are continuing to expand the team.

They have an experienced and highly technical team from varied backgrounds. The specific software language you have experience with is not a priority here, they look for adaptable, 'polyglot Engineers' and see the language as a tool to solve the problem!

If you share a similar mindset and want to work with likeminded people in an enterprise, customer platform and cloud environment then this could be for you.

You will be tackling monolith to microservices challenges, driving release efficiencies and building new products driving core product transformation.

As a Principal Software Engineer will have:

Minimum 15 years commercial experience
Design and architecture experience
Tech stack: Node, React, TypeScript, Perl. - you should apply if you have experience in other languages
Experience in cloud technologies including AWS, GCP, Docker, Kubernetes, Terraform
You will have experience working on large enterprise platforms, resolving production issues

Key responsbilities:

acting as technical authority within the team, contributing to architecture/design
Responsible for mentoring junior members and conducting code reviews
resolving complexed software challenges for their production environments
Be able to communicate at different levels, and be colloborative, with a 'can do' solutions mindset

They are looking for people who want to colloborate, whiteboard, brainstorm face to face and require you to have a willingness to work in the office twice a week on average.

The salary is ranging from £90,000 - £115,000 per annum with an annual bonus equating to upwards of £20k (total package: £140k-£160k).

Please apply for immediate consideration
