Position: Quality Manager
Location: Cornwall
Salary: £35,000 - £40,000
Monday - Friday - Office hours
Role Overview:
Our client is an innovative name in the food/drink industry and has created this new role as part of their continuous business expansion. As a Quality Manager, you will play a pivotal role in ensuring that products meet and exceed the expectations of both the customers and regulatory standards. You will lead a team of dedicated professionals, driving a culture of excellence and continuous improvement throughout the organisation.
Key Responsibilities:
* Liaise with major retailers in the food and drink industry to maintain strong partnerships and meet their quality requirements.
* Lead and mentor a team of quality assurance professionals, encouraging their development and motivation.
* Oversee the completion of product specifications, ensuring accuracy and compliance with regulatory standards.
* Maintain comprehensive compliance across all aspects of our business operations.
* Drive initiatives to enhance quality control processes and optimize efficiency.
Requirements:
* Food Safety Level 3.
* HACCP qualified.
* Proven experience with major retailers in the food and drink industry is preferable.
* Demonstrated leadership skills, with a track record of effectively leading and motivating teams.
* Strong understanding of quality assurance principles and regulatory requirements.
* Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
* Ability to thrive in a fast-paced, dynamic environment.
