Location: Manchester, London or Newbury - Hybrid with occasional travel required

Salary: up to £80k depending on experience

Our client is a leading supplier of Unified Communications as a Service (UCaaS) in the UK, German, Spanish, Polish, and Dutch business markets. They provide robust and secure solutions that enable organisations to communicate, collaborate and offer a better customer experience.

Our client is excited to present an outstanding opportunity for a Legal Counsel lawyer to collaborate with their General Counsel in supporting their UK business. In this role, you will play a crucial part, providing top-notch legal advice and support on the legal and commercial aspects of the group business. Your primary focus will be on commercial contract work, with additional involvement in other legal matters as needed.

The Role of Legal Adviser:

* You will offer expert legal guidance and support on commercial issues within the business.

* Collaborate with stakeholders to prepare contracts and agreements.

* Create and maintain legal templates and essential documents.

* Provide legal advice for corporate initiatives.

* Work closely with stakeholders across functions, including Procurement and Commercial teams.

Candidate requirements:

* You should preferably be qualified with an upper-tier law firm, boasting 5-7 years of post-qualification experience.

* Experience in negotiating and drafting complex agreements with senior management.

* Bring a pragmatic, thoughtful approach to problem-solving.

* Ability to provide unambiguous advice to stakeholders, both internally and externally.

* Think like a business leader when making decisions.

* Ideal experience would come from the telecoms or tech industry.
