Job Description

Eventus Recruitment are seeking a Legal Cashier to work across a growing group looking after a number of Law firms. This is a full-time, permanent job role based in Stoke-on-Trent, Staffordshire. They are offering hybrid working, 25 days annual leave plus bank holidays, paycare scheme and professional development opportunities.

Role Responsibilities

You will be an experienced Legal Cashier with at least 1 years’ experience. Your main duties will include:

* Daily banking and reconciliations

* BACS and CHAPS payments

* Handling fee earner queries

* Process internal account transfers

* Process sales and purchase invoices

* Check completion statements

* Credit control

* Some reporting

* Compliance with SAR and anti-money laundering is imperative at all times

Person Specification

The successful Legal Cashier will be a great communicator, conscientious and well organised. You will also possess the following skills:

* Good Excel knowledge

* Working knowledge of the accounting principles, Solicitors Accounts Rules would be beneficial.

* Experience of Proclaim is advantageous but not necessary.

* Reconciliation experience and good computer skills are essential.

* Attention to detail is essential.
