A fantastic opportunity has arisen for an Engineering Assistant to help provide pivotal engineering support to one of our well established, growing clients in the heart of Maidstone.
This role is key to ensure operations run smoothly across the business and to enhance equipment performance and reliability.
Execute preventative maintenance duties, reducing system downtime .
Complete routine equipment and machinery maintenance .
Provide effective solutions to mechanical and electrical issues through troubleshooting.
Collaborate across production and operation teams to accelerate production processes.
Ensure accurate records of maintenance activities are always kept.
Fast response to equipment breakdowns and emergencies.
Regular evaluations of equipment performance to enhance efficiency.
The successful candidate will have:
An engineering Diploma or equivalent .
Experience in mechanical engineering is beneficial but not essential.
Knowledge of diagnostic tools and equipment .
An excellent problem-solving mindset and analytical skills.
The ability to manage own workload and collaborate across teams.
Confidence using MS packages, primarily Excel.
