A fantastic opportunity has arisen for one of our clients that are a dynamic buildings measurement and topographical survey business with a front-end lead capture process that uses cutting-edge technology to provide an instant quote for our clients online. They have grown dramatically since being established in 2018 and offer the highest quality of measured surveys and 3D scanning output for residential and small commercial properties. They have big ambitions and are looking for a senior level team member to drive forward the operations within the business.
My client currently delivers a minimum of 12 surveys monthly to our array of client base; architects, surveyors, contractors, home builders and homeowners but have ambitions to triple this within 2022. They are looking for an experienced surveyor that has experience in measured building, land & topographical line of work. The team already consists of the two Founders, a Business Manager, and three Surveyors. This role would suit surveyors at a range of experience levels.
Responsibility & Duties
* Managing and supporting the junior surveying team (in-house and outsourced) in ensuring all technical drawings are provided on time and to a high standard
* Undertaking surveys using modern survey instruments such as Leica Total Stations and Leica RTC360
* Plotting drawings on AutoCAD and REVIT (plans, elevations, sections, topographical information)
* ability to train people and promote surveying best practices. Ultimately be responsible for future CAD/BIM standards and quality assurance processes within the company
* Liaising with staff, suppliers and clients in a professional manner
* Attend Weekly team meetings/ Review/ Growth strategy contribution
Experience & Qualification
* Proficient in AutoCAD and REVIT and the use of processing platforms such as LSS and Cyclone
* Member of RICS
* Good organization, communication and file management skills
* Technologically savvy with good working knowledge in Microsoft Office and Google Drive
* Discretion and trustworthiness
* Work both autonomously and part of a team
* The ability to take on responsibility and make decisions
* Experience of topographical measured building & land surveying
* UK Experience Ideal
