Project Manager - Civil Engineering

Andover - 17th Century Estate – Major Refurbishment - £90M

Project – Private Drive 1km – New Lake & Waterfall Including outer grounds Hard and Soft Landscaping £20M.

Salary £75,000 + Car Allowance £5000 + 23 Days Holiday + Pension

Blaymires Recruitment is representing a highly respected contractor who is searching for a motivated Project Manager to work on a major 17th Century estate upgrade, located near Andover with a total project cost of £90M.

The chosen Project Manager will have a rare opportunity to manage a new 1km private drive, the construction of a new lake as well as managing the hard and soft landscaping of the outer grounds with a project value of £20M. The Project Manager will have major Civil Engineering experience.

The Role of the Project Manager - Civil Engineering

You will have full control and will be responsible for delivering the project against agreed dates and within budget.

You will have responsibility for overall performance of the project across all disciplines in order to meet or exceed the contractual obligations, anticipated profit margins and other project KPI’s.

You will report to the Director and Senior Management and in turn will manage the site team.

You will be client facing and will need excellent communication skills as well as the ability to plan, programme and lead the project.

In addition to extensive construction knowledge and project experience, your core skills must be in the effective management of people, delivery of strategic project objectives, forward planning, extensive and effective programming and project reporting.

Candidate requirements of the Project Manager - Civil Engineering

* Have major Civil Engineering / Highways Experience.

* Experience of Hard and Soft Landscaping

* Have experience in managing projects in excess of £10M.

* Able to deliver exceptional quality.

* Professional and client facing.

* SMSTS, CSCS and First Aid.

* Stable career history with a reputable contractor.

* Salary up to £75,000

Working Hours:

08:00 - 17:30 Monday - Thursday and 08:00 - 16:00 Friday
