Role Info:
Vehicle Technician / MechanicHedge EndUp to £33,000 Plus Generous Bonus Scheme Hours: Mon to Fri, 8.30am to 5.30pm, one in three Saturdays

The Service Technician / Mechanic Opportunity:
As Service Technician you will be a member of the Aftersales Team and will report to the Service Manager. You will carry out a variety of workshop work in an efficient and safe manner. Your main aim is to meet customer requirements and maximise workshop utilisation and productivity.
What your day might look like:
+ Carrying out vehicle services and repairs in accordance with brand technical standards+ Working in accordance with brand and dealership processes+ Liaising directly with customers where appropriate+ Providing support to less experienced colleagues+ Attending regular training to update technical skills+ Working as a full member of the workshop and dealership teams+ Ensuring that your immediate working environment is kept clean and devoid of any working practice which may be hazardous+ Wearing protective clothing and equipment when appropriate+ Handling of waste products and hazardous materials
About you:
+ MOT qualification+ Relevant City & Guilds, BTEC or NVQ accreditation+ Fluent written and spoken English+ PC, Microsoft, web literate+ Full, clean driving licence+ Proven track record of individual excellence+ Highly skilled in fault diagnosis and hold the relevant MOT Tester qualification
+ Previous vehicle knowledge and proven skills+ Previous work experience in a franchise dealership+ Commitment to delivering first class customer service
