Audit and Accounts Manager / Senior Manager / Associate Director in Thurmaston - CV-Library

We are hiring a unique career opportunity for someone with proven audit skills from working in an accountancy practice, at a leading accountancy firm in Leicester. This role can be hired between Audit Senior through to Senior Manager / Director Designate grade and is best suited to an ambitious ACA / ACCA qualified, or finalist who wants the chance to take over a management role in this firm’s audit department and work with their largest clients. Development to an R.I role soon or in the medium term is on offer for the right person.

The exact mix of audit, accounts and other work can be changed to suit the wishes of a new recruit, but the ultimate aim would be to become a “responsible individual” / R.I and ultimately, that would free up the chance to become a future leader / Partner in this firm.

This practice use up to date IT methods, are highly profitable and have an established team, with some strong talent throughout the firm.

This role is working on a broad variety of clients, but also newer cloud-based accounting systems which the firm and their clients are increasingly using. The firm is very IT literate and forward thinking, with a strong client base.

To be considered, you will have practical experience, including audit and could be moving from a top 4 / top 20 firm or a smaller practice, where you have gained audit experience alongside other skills. You will be seeking the opportunity to develop your career and role to a leading position and become an R.I, with potential equity involvement when you reach a Director / Partner level.
