Commercial Insurance Account Handler

Monday to Friday 9am to 5pm

A leading established client based in the Gloucestershire area are looking to hire a Commercial Account Handler to join their established and friendly team.My client has an open mind and will not only consider those from a commercial broker background, but also candidates who currently work at an insurer.

Key tasks:

To negotiate new business and renewal terms with insurers and other insurance brokers
To liaise with insurance companies and build relationships with our Wholesale Brokers

Candidates should have the following skills:

An understanding and working knowledge of commercial related insurance policies, predominantly Commercial Vehicle, Employers & Public Liability and Goods In Transit
A good working knowledge of Microsoft Outlook, Excel, Word and Sirius - SSP (or experience of using a similar system)
A confident telephone manner and the ability to be accurate and precise whilst working under pressure and meeting deadlines
