Our major Insurance Broking client is looking to recruit an additional Commercial Insurance Technician into a brand new role.
You'll be working closely with senior Account Managers and will be assisting major Clients with their Insurance requirements.
In this newly created role you will assist with the client's correspondence, ensuring their business has the appropriate Insurance cover and processing all of the important documentation for your clients.
This is an ideal opportunity for you to utilise your general Insurance knowledge and to move into dealing with Commercial Insurance and to deal with large clients, who are often household names.
Initially because of training, you would be in the office but this is a role that can be performed on a hybrid basis, working between your home and the office.
To be successful as an Insurance Technician you'll demonstrate:
Insurance experience, gained within a Broker or Insurer, and keen to learn and develop
Good customer service background
Highly accurate with a strong attention to detail
Good communication and social skills
Process driven, able to achieve deadlinesYour role as Insurance Technician will include the following responsibilities:
Create compliant documents for new customers about their insurance requirements
Obtain renewal terms for customers and research suitable alternatives
Produce renewal information for the Account Managers to discuss with customers
Co-ordinate all renewal quotes for existing customers along with any mid-term adjustments
Ensure all customer details are recorded accurately and entered onto system in a timely fashion
Manage Insurer and client queries, confirm cover with relevant Insurers
Process policies and chase up outstanding documentation when required
Secure delivery of policy documentation from Insurers and check prior to approval and release
