OVERVIEW: MECHANICAL INSTRUCTOR
We are currently seeking an engineering professional to deliver and coordinate the successful completion of qualifications, for a well-established training provider based in Southampton.
The Mechanical Instructor role will require you to be involved in teaching, coaching and mentoring young learners undertaking L2 and L3 qualifications. You will be a time served Mechanical Engineer with experience and knowledge in composites.
THE ROLE OF THE MECHANICAL INSTRUCTOR
To deliver and coordinate the successful completion of all aspects of qualifications delivered at a high-tech training facility (classroom-based delivery) in Southampton.
Training learners, in the centre, towards agreed qualifications in line with relevant awarding body standards, carrying out regular progression reviews and target setting.
We are looking for applicants that are self-motivated, a team player and have a 'hands on approach' to work within this rewarding environment.
ESSENTIAL EXPERIENCE: MECHANICAL INSTRUCTOR
Minimum 4 years' relevant occupational experience within Mechanical Engineering (within composites)
Good communication and presentation skillsQUALIFICATIONS & COMPETENCIES: MECHANICAL INSTRUCTOR
Level 3 (or above) occupational qualification
Teaching qualification and Assessor Award

£36-37k starting salary
