* Lead and execute audit engagements from planning to completion, ensuring accuracy and adherence to deadlines.
* Conduct risk assessments and develop audit plans tailored to the client's business environment.
* Review financial statements and reports to ensure compliance with accounting principles and regulatory requirements.
* Collaborate with clients to understand their business processes, identify risks, and recommend improvements.
* Stay updated on industry trends, accounting standards, and regulatory changes.
* Maintain effective communication with clients, addressing their concerns and providing proactive solutions.
* Assist in the development and enhancement of internal audit methodologies and processes.
Qualifications:
* Bachelor's degree in Accounting, Finance, or related field.
* ACCA or ACA qualification is highly preferred.
* Minimum of 3 years of experience in public accounting with a focus on audit in the UK Market is essential.
* Strong knowledge of accounting principles, auditing standards, and regulatory requirements.
* Excellent analytical, organisational, and project management skills.
* Effective communication and interpersonal skills.
* Ability to work independently and as part of a team.
* Proficient in Microsoft Office Suite and audit software.
