Commercial Insurance Renewals Agent

Salary £30,000 - £35,000 per annum DOE plus Bonus!

Location: Rugby

Hours: Mon - Fri 9am - 5pm (1 day per week working from home)

We are recruiting for an experienced Commercial Insurance Renewals Agent to work within our client's commercial sales team, providing business insurance for all types of SME and corporate businesses, specialising in contractors, building trade companies and members of trade organisations.

The Role:You will primarily be responsible for supporting commercial lines clients to ensure conversion of new business, service of existing accounts and retention of renewals to achieve company income targets in accordance with company procedures and regulatory requirements.

Responsibilities:

Responsibility for your own book of client renewals, you will service clients to achieve success of renewal by negotiating with insurers for the most competitive rates of cover.
You will obtain quotations from our panel of insurers, communicating the quotations back to the client and advising the most appropriate in terms of price and cover to meet the needs of the client.
Highlight appropriate additional products which align to the client needs and to cross sell any additional products to maximise companies' sales income.
Accurately processing policies, transactions and processing of insurance documents on our in-house software (Acturis / MS office).
Process any policy midterm adjustments and cancellations.
Support the Sales Director with any new business leads.Key Skills:

A minimum of 2 years in commercial insurance industry is essential, preferably within the construction sector.
Proven track record of exceeding sales targets and have a driven approach to achieving results.
Experience in building successful long-term relationships both internally and externally.
Excellent communication skills, both written and verbal is essential.
Must have a full driving license.What do you get in return:
